Travelling from a distance and using major roads, travel to Colchester, Essex which will lead you to travel on the A12. When on the A12, you can use exits at Junctions 27 (from London only), 28 & 29
From Junction 27 (Spring Lane): Exit and the long road takes you underneath the A12 to Spring Lane Roundabout. Go straight across onto the Avenue of Remembrance and 1.5 miles at the next roundabout, turn right. Travel to the next roundabout and go straight over onto Balkerne Hill. Up over the hill to the next roundabout (300m) and take the left turn, aiming for the right hand lane of Southway. Go along Southway for 300m and turn right, all the way round the roundabout back onto Southway and take an immediate left into St. Johns Green (and another immediate left if you wish to park in the Centre's carpark).
From Junction 28 (Stadium / Northern Approach): Take the Via Urbis Romanis into Colchester (also called the Northern Approach). Straight over at the Stadium roundabout and straight on through the lights. Follow the main traffic flow into Colchester past Colchester North Station (under a railway bridge). At the next roundabout (Wickes) head towards the right down to Essex Hall Roundabout where it is straight across. Travel to the next roundabout and go straight over onto Balkerne Hill. Up over the hill to the next roundabout (300m) and take the left turn, aiming for the right hand lane of Southway. Go along Southway for 300m and turn right, all the way round the roundabout back onto Southway and take an immediate left into St. Johns Green (and another immediate left if you wish to park in the Centre's carpark).
From Junction 29 (Ardleigh Crown): Follow the A12 for 15 miles and exit at Junction , Colchester North. Follow the A1232, Ipswich Road for 1.5 miles to a double roundabout (Homebase) and go straight over. At the next mini roundabout turn right into East Hill. Follow for 300m and turn left at the next mini roundabout into Brook Street. Up the hill to the traffic lights and turn right into Magdelen Street. Whe you reach St. Botolphs roundabout go straight over but as you exit the roundabout into Southway, take an immediate left into St.Johns Green (and another immediate left if you wish to park in the Centre's carpark).
